Why this website exists

I created this website in November 2024, three years after my semi-planned arrest (during an acute mental health crisis) led to media coverage of the hearing in Westminster Magistrates’ Court. I pleaded guilty, and was sentenced in February 2022.

Several media outlets reported that I had sought arrest in order to get help with my mental health. This was due to a “basis of plea” that I did agree to. The problem was that by the time I entered my plea, I was feeling quite mentally unwell – having just been told that I had already featured in the national press the previous day. I was hospitalised a few days later.

One purpose for this website was to correct the record:

A significant part of my seriously misguided thinking was to attempt to force an investigation into concerns about my treatment, including by mental health services.

It was not to access help from mental health services.

My actions on 10th May 2021 were irrational, but were not as was widely reported in 2021/2022 – now to be found on Google.

I have since made complaints through the proper channels, some of which have been upheld with some action taken, while some have not been pursued further since I was discharged from mental health services in mid 2025 (with some not getting very far at all). Some of those issues are discussed in Why Did Cameron Want To Get Arrested In London
